Featured Dog House 5: Bailey's Bungalow
Location: Somewhere in America
Builder: Jack

I built the house so my buddy has a place for cover
during the day. We only keep her in the yard on 32+ days.
Nights are spent in a pet-porter in-doors.
Attached are some pics of the house I built.
Basic details:
4'x3', .75" thick plywood floor with 2x4 treated
supports under.
20" high 2x4 insulated walls.
The entire interior is cedar lined (expensive mistake, oh well...she
is worth it).
Interior wall to block wind.
Custom (well, it's all custom) front hinged insulated roof.
About $100 and 8 hours invested. I probably could have bought
one cheaper, but then it would not have been "custom", and
it also gave me something to do.
The house also has fixed caster wheels on the back
(so when you tilt it up it can be rolled around, it weighs at least
100 pounds).
"Bailey" is a Border Collie/Sheltie/Schipperkee
mix. Mom was a breeder mistake mix of a Sheltie and a Schipperkee.
Then mom wandered into the yard of a registered Border Collie...
