Bob Sikes Cut. A few hundred feet across, twenty feet deep, engineers widened the pass in the late 1950's to give deeper draw ships a direct shot from Apalachicola to the Gulf. Land access only from Saint George Plantation, a private, gated community. Across the cut is Little Saint George Island.
